Damitrans Express operates as dedicated carriages attached to the SP1 and SP3 trains departing for Lao Cai every night:
Outbound (Hanoi – Lao Cai): Departs from Hanoi Station at 9:30 PM or 10:00 PM – Arrives at Lao Cai Station at approximately 5:30 AM the following morning.
Inbound (Lao Cai – Hanoi): Trains SP2/SP4 depart at 8:55 PM or 9:40 PM – Arrives in Hanoi in the early morning.
The train terminates at Lao Cai Station. From here, you can take a shuttle bus or transfer vehicle to Sapa, which takes about 50 minutes to 1 hour (35km).
